Mr Darren M. Smith

I build the software.
I care about the outcome.

I’m the founder and owner of Easy Agent AI, and a hands-on AI software engineer. Building useful things is at the centre of what I do.

I create my own online software projects: AI agents, financial and credit-reporting tools, race-horse software, and products and workflows designed around the needs of major sporting organisations.

I use paid OpenAI Codex access in my development workflow, alongside my own planning, coding, testing and creative production. It helps me work through ideas and improve the software I’m building. The responsibility for the finished work stays with me.

My ambition is to bring that combination of engineering and video production to organisations with a strong history and a big future. For hockey teams, that means understanding the people behind the results: your front office, analysts, commercial staff, content team and supporters.

“Tell me what your people need. Let’s build something useful, show you how it works and earn your confidence through the work.”

You don’t need to arrive with a technical brief. Bring a challenge, an idea or a process that takes too much time. We can start with an agreed workflow in the two-day free demo pilot and decide together what comes next.

What I create

One builder.
A broad range of possibilities.

Different industries bring different problems. I start with the people, the information and the work that needs to happen.

01

Engineering with OpenAI Codex

I use paid OpenAI Codex access as part of my software-engineering workflow: working through ideas, writing code, investigating problems and improving the finished product. I stay involved in the architecture, review and testing.

02

Custom agents. Connected workflows.

My work ranges from individual AI assistants to projects involving hundreds of specialised agents. I design their roles, the information they can use and the points where people review their work.

03

Financial & credit-reporting software

I create financial-software projects, including credit-reporting dashboards and tools that help people understand and organise financial information. Credit-score displays depend on authorised reporting data; the software itself does not issue or guarantee a credit score.

04

My own race-horse software

I develop my own racing-software projects for the needs of owners, trainers, jockeys and racing-industry users—bringing information, reporting and everyday workflows into one more useful experience.

05

Software for ambitious sports organisations

I create AI tools, digital products and workflows for the needs of major sporting organisations. My focus includes operations, internal reporting, commercial teams, fan engagement and the systems behind a strong sporting brand.

06

Video production with a purpose

Alongside software, I create and edit video, animation and branded content. Every seasonal AI partnership includes a full-time social video agency with 3–4 human video specialists: creative planning, team stories, editing and approved publishing across the organisation’s channels.

OpenAI Codex is part of Darren’s independent development toolkit. Easy Agent AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI. Examples describe areas of work, not partnerships with named teams or guaranteed business results.

What this means for your hockey organisation

CONTENT

Tell the team’s story.

Plan video, YouTube and campaign workflows that help your content team produce and review work consistently.
